Station Review #155: 61st- Pine Loop (SEPTA)

61st & Pine Loop is a bus loop located at 61st Street and Pine Streets in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood of West Philadelphia. The bus loop mainly has service from short turns of SEPTA's route 42 bus.  Tour 61st & Pine is an average SEPTA loop, being one of the ones that got remodeled in the 2000s-2010s. Rising Sun & Olney Loop is a SEPTA loop located at Rising Sun and Olney Avenues in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia. This loop was not selected to be remodeled in the 2010s.  Bus Service and Connections There are two buses that go here:  26 - Pulaski-Rittenhouse and Olney Transit Center to Frankford Transit Center: The 26 is normally a crosstown bus linking northwest, north, and northeast Philadelphia. Here though, this loop instead is only used for some peak short turns of the bus.  57 - Whitman Plaza to Rising Sun-Olney/Fern Rock Transit Center: This is a vertical bus that goes all the way across the city, mainly along 3rd/4th Streets, and then American Street, and eventually Front Street and Rising Sun Avenue. Parkside Loop is a SEPTA bus loop located at 50th Street in the Parkside neighborhood of West Philadelphia.  Services and Transit Connections There are multiple buses that use this loop:  40 - 2nd-Lombard to Conshohocken-Monument : A few trips a day go to the Parkside Loop, often to short turn. Otherwise, you can catch this bus nearby at Parkside Avenue. Both variants of this bus run about once every 15 minutes 43 - Richmond-Cumberland to Parkside Loop: This bus is a crosstown route that uses Spring Garden Street and Haverford Avenue, among others. The SEPTA Bus Revolution plan will have this bus continue to 69th Street Transit Center in place of the 30, thus removing this connection.  52 - 49th-Woodland to 54th-City/Parkside Loop: This bus acts as a vertical, and goes via 52nd Street north from Kingsessing. Some trips of the 52 go to Parkside Loop, and some continue to City Avenue. A few trips a day also end at the nearby ParkWest Town Center....

Station Review #133: Oshkosh-Downtown Transit Center (Amtrak/Go Transit)

Downtown Transit Center is a station along Amtrak's I-41 Thruway bus line in the downtown of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The station is also the main hub for Go Transit, the main transit system of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This is a different Go Transit than the one of Toronto, Ontario.   Very little about the history of this station is known, past that it was rebuilt in 1994, and that an office was built in 2018 or so.  Services Back of the transit center There are many routes that go through here, these include: Amtrak Amtrak runs the I-41 Thruway bus, a bus that goes between Milwaukee and Green Bay via the Fox Cities ran by Lamers Connect and through-ticketed on Amtrak. Two trips a day are ran in a specially branded bus, while one other trip is in a Lamers Connect bus. That makes six trips per direction total. Vineland Transportation Center is a bus station located near Landis Avenue in Vineland, New Jersey. The bus station is served by NJT, and is the primary station for CATS, the transit system for Cumberland County, New Jersey.  Services CATS bus There are a lot of services that run to Vineland Transportation Center CATS Almost every CATS bus runs to Vineland Transportation Center. These include: Landis Avenue X-Press (LAX): This is a bus that goes from Vineland Transportation Center to Bridgeton via Landis Avenue, serving Norma and Rosenhayn on the way. This bus only runs three trips a day per direction, during rush hour only. Millville Area Connector (MAC): This bus is a loop, linking various parts of Millville to downtown Vineland, including Vineland Transportation Center, as well as a large produce market.
