Station Review #85: Ridgewood Bus Terminal (NJT)

Ridgewood Bus Terminal is a bus station in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  Multiple bus routes stop at Ridgewood Bus Terminal. These include:  163: Upper Ridgewood to Port Authority Bus Terminal. 163s: Upper Ridgewood to Ridgewood High School. 164: Midland Park to Port Authority Bus Terminal. 175: Ridgewood Bus Terminal to George Washington Bridge Bus Station via Glen Rock and Bergen Community College. 722: South Paterson to Paramus Park Mall via Ridgewood. 746: Paterson Bus Terminal to Ridgewood Bus Terminal. 752: Hackensack Bus Terminal to Oakland via Ridgewood. Tour The terminal building itself, depressing as can be Commuter parking There's more parking here than there is space used for the rest of the terminal!  Cool light fixtures! Inside The inside of the station building is completely locked. From the looks of it, there are a bunch of chairs and not much else. Everything in there is covered in dirt and trash....

Avandale Park and Ride is a bus station that serves multiple NJT bus routes. The park and ride is located along Willamstown New Freedom Road in Sicklerville, NJ, near the Atlantic City Expressway.  Services There are multiple services that use Avandale Park and Ride, these include 316: EXPRESS: Philadelphia to Wildwood and Cape May via Atlantic City Expressway and Garden State Parkway 400: Sicklerville and Avandale Loop to Philadelphia 459: Avandale Loop to Lindenwold and Voorhees Town Center 463: Avandale Loop to Woodbury 551: EXPRESS: Philadelphia to Atlantic City via Atlantic City Expressway  555: EXPRESS: Philadelphia to Avandale Loop  Additionally, the SJTA runs a service:  Pureland East-West Shuttle: Avandale Loop to Pureland Industrial Park (Logan Township) via Glassboro and Mullica Hill Tour Avandale Park and Ride's bus structures from behind   There really isn't all that much at Avandale Park and Ride. Gregg Street Loop is a bus loop operated by SEPTA. The loop is located very close to the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Linden Avenue in the Torresdale neighborhood of Philadelphia. Services One of the two bus stop signs at the bus loop There are three bus services that stop at Gregg Street Loop, these include:  Route 66: Frankford Transportation Center to City Line Loop via Frankford Avenue. Some trips end at Gregg Street Loop instead of going all the way to City Line Loop .  Route 70: Fern Rock Transportation Center to Torresdale-Cottman or Gregg Street Loops via Cottman Avenue. Some trips continue past Torresdale-Cottman Loop to Gregg Street Loop via Torresdale Avenue and State Road, linking the 70 to Upper Holmesburg.  Route 88: Gregg Street Loop to Frankford Transportation Center via Rowland Avenue. Station Review #59: Bells Corner (SEPTA)

Bells Corner Loop is a bus loop in the Bells Corner neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. The bus loop exists as a turnback point for the 59 bus.  History The 59 was inagurated as a trolley route in November of 1922, ran by the PRT from Arrott Transportation Center to Bustleton and Lott Streets. Bells Corner was built as a turnback loop for short turns.  Old post card photo of the first trolley in Bustleton, taken at the present day location of the Kelly's Seafood restaurant.  The old 59 trolley ran the same route as the present day 59, but instead would continue up Bustleton avenue (including what is now present day "Old" Bustleton Avenue) and then up Welsh road, before going back onto Bustleton avenue and ending in the middle of the road at Lott street. Southampton is a bus stop on the SEPTA Boulevard Direct bus line, located at Roosevelt Boulevard and Southampton Road in the Byberry neighborhood of Philadelphia.  Tour This is basically a standard bus stop with "Southampton" plastered on it.
