Station Review #169: South Carolina Avenue At Atlantic Avenue (NJT)

South Carolina Avenue at Atlantic Avenue is a small bus terminal located at that aforementioned intersection in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Services There are multiple NJT buses that stop here, these include:  501: This bus runs from the Atlantic City Bus Terminal to Brigantine via Harrah's and Borgata Casinos. This bus runs about once every hour.  502: This bus runs from here to Atlantic Cape Community College via Black Horse Pike.  504: This bus runs from Margate to the North Side of Atlantic City via Ventnor Heights. This bus runs about every 40 minutes, and is a mess to look at on a map.  505: This bus runs about once every 15 minutes between Venice Park, the Atlantic City Aquarium, and Longport via Atlantic Avenue. This bus is also a bit of a mess on a map.  507: This bus runs from here to Ocean City, running a bus every hour or so.  508: This bus runs from here to Hamilton Mall, similarly to the 502. Union College is a bus station ran by NJT that's located at the driveway of Union College of New Jersey, a college in Cranford, NJ.  Services 58 - Elizabeth-Kenilworth:  This bus runs between Union College to Elizabeth via Broad Street and Westfield Avenue. On weekdays, this bus runs anywhere from every 20 minutes at peak times to about every 70 minutes otherwise. This is about as annoying as you'd expect it to be.  59 - Plainfield - Newark:  This bus goes from Harriet Tubman Square in Newark to Dunellen via Elizabeth Avenue, Jersey Avenue, South Avenue, and more. More specifically, the route roughly parallels US-22. Trips to Union College roughly run every 50 minutes on weekdays, save for the 90 minute gap between 12:05 PM and 1:35 PM.  66m - Newark - Springfield - Union College: This is a variant of the 66 bus that runs from Newark Penn to Union College via Springfield, terminating at Union College. Station Review #167: Lombard-South (SEPTA)

Lombard-South is a station on SEPTA's Broad Street Subway. The station is located on Broad Street between Lombard and South Streets. This station is only served by B1 trains.  Tour Stairwell into the station  This is mostly an average B line station. In fact, compared to most stations south of Walnut-Locust, I fail to see any important points where this station is much different at all.  Stairs Unfortunately, this station isn't accessible at all. This is similar to many other B line stations, and is hopefully set to change soon.  One way turnstiles This entrance looks unusable from this angle, but that's only an optical illusion thankfully. Rydal is a station on SEPTA's West Trenton line, located at Susquehanna Road and Washington Lane in the small village of Rydal, PA, itself located in Abington Township, PA.  History Rydal station was originally built either in 1883 by the North Pennsylvania Railroad, or in 1888 by the Reading Railroad, though the former is more likely due to the architectural style being more in line with NPRR's depots. At some point around the 2000s, there was a station restoration.  Tour The station nowadays Rydal station hasn't changed all that much in the past few decades.  Doorway Post office sign Much of the depot nowadays is a small post office.  Waiting room Rydal has a waiting room, usually only open on weekdays between 5:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Station Review #163: Eastwick (SEPTA)

Eastwick is a station on SEPTA's Airport Line. The station is located along Bartram Avenue near 84th Street in Philadelphia's Eastwick neighborhood. There were plans to rebuild that station and make an Eastwick Transit Center, extending the T5 to it. Considering the capital funds are being siphoned for operational expenses now, it's unknown if this will even happen.   Tour Everything here is made out of wood. At least unlike Highland Avenue or County Line almost everything is on the ground or not all that far from it.  Crossing Shelter and sign Bench Wheelchair ramp Another end It brings me joy to think about how the map is basically zip tied to the fence.  Do you trust that bench?
