Tour
Scenic Road is a normal D1 station in most cases.
There are no notices on the board, and the map is outdated
Why exactly Scenic Road has this much parking, I have no clue. The parking lot does get use though
Normally, I don't feature these, but the location of this one was funny enough to include it. It's at a random street corner far enough away that the average person wouldn't notice it.
That trolley later broke down between Huey Avenue station and the Drexel Hill Junction and was stuck for almost an hour
Bus Connections
There is two DIY bus connections you can make:
110 - Penn State University to 69th Street Transit Center: This is a bus that parallels the D1 Line, but instead continuing past Media to end in Lima at Penn State Brandywine. This bus uses Township Line Road in Upper Darby, acting as a variant of the 111.
111 - Chadds Ford to 69th Street Transit Center: This is a bus that runs through most of the Delaware county portion of US-1, originally acting as the Delaware County extension of the route 1 bus. This bus is notable for running express along the Media Bypass past Media into Lima.
Points of Interest Near Scenic Road station
There's a church and houses, and not much else. If you walk far enough, you eventually reach an "automotive and pet food" shop, which is really weird for somewhere in suburbia like this place.
