Station Review #119: Beverly/Edgewater Park (NJT)
Beverly/Edgewater Park is a station on the River Line located in Beverly, New Jersey.
Tour
This is just an average River Line station, most of these are fairly similar and are just copy-pasted everywhere along the line.
These telephone boxes are especially unique, but ubiquitous along this line.
Bus Connections
There are two bus Connections at Beverly, both operated by BurLink, these are:
- BurLink B1 - Beverly/Pemberton: This is a long haul bus route that goes via Willingboro and Mount Holly, as well as Pemberton and Browns Mills to the small village of Country Lakes, where it is the only transit availible. Some trips short turn at Mount Holly. This bus runs about 12 trips per day, per direction.
- BurLink B2 - Beverly/Edgewater Park/Willingboro/Westhampton: This is an alternate route that goes a different way through Willingboro, serving more residential areas, and linking all of them to a business park in Westhampton. This bus only runs five trips a day.
No NJT buses run into Beverly at all. If you want to get to NJT buses, it's not a very long walk to get to Willingboro Town Center station, or to use a transfer from the river line, or just use a different River Line station.
Points of Interest in Beverly/Edgewater Park
There's mot much to actually do in either Beverly or Edgewater Park. Beverly has a small downtown with an interesting bakery in it, but that's about it. There's a respectable amount of older density here. Beverly was definitely a rail town when it was built along this rail line.
