Station Review #189: 35th and Allegheny Loop (SEPTA)

35th and Allegheny Loop is a SEPTA bus station located at 35th Street and Allegheny Avenue, in the Allegheny West neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. The station is served as one of the western termini for the 60 bus. The station was rebuilt as part of the loop rebuilding project SEPTA ran in the 2010s.

Until August 23rd, 2026, this was the main westbound terminal for the 60 bus. With the extension of the 60 bus, there is a chance this loop may be demolished in the future as there isn't much of any other usage for it. SEPTA has considered moving other bus routes to this loop to fill in the extra capacity, but no routes really work well in it.

35th and Allegheny is a small loop. There is only space for one bus at a time in the loop. The way the platform is organized reflects such

Here, you get a bus shelter, a bench (hostile architecture), some information about how fares work on the SEPTA bus system, a map of the 60 bus, and a trash and recycling bin.

The bus loop has two small gardens, making the loop look prettier.
