Services
There are a lot of services that run to Vineland Transportation Center
CATS
Almost every CATS bus runs to Vineland Transportation Center. These include:
Landis Avenue X-Press (LAX): This is a bus that goes from Vineland Transportation Center to Bridgeton via Landis Avenue, serving Norma and Rosenhayn on the way. This bus only runs three trips a day per direction, during rush hour only.
Millville Area Connector (MAC): This bus is a loop, linking various parts of Millville to downtown Vineland, including Vineland Transportation Center, as well as a large produce market. This bus only runs four trips a day per direction, rush hours only.
Social Services Shuttle (SSS): This bus goes from Vineland Transportation Center to the Vineland Social Services Center. One trip a day runs to Rowan College Cumberland County, but not back. This bus is considered a combined service with the Vineland Industrial Park Shuttle (VIP), but they're practically different bus routes. This bus only runs three trips a day per direction, rush hours only.
Vineland Industrial Park Shuttle (VIP): This bus goes from Vineland Transportation Center to an industrial park on the northwestern end of the town. This bus only runs three trips a day per direction, rush hour only.
NJT
313: This bus runs from Philadelphia to Cape May via NJ state route 47, and expresses from Walter Rand Transportation Center to Pitman. This bus runs three trips a day per direction, for a total of six trips.
408: This bus runs from Philadelphia to Millville via Delsea drive (NJ-47). Trips on the 408 are about hourly.
553: This bus runs from Atlantic City Bus terminal to the Upper Deerfield Walmart via Mays Landing, Vineland, Millville, and Bridgeton.
SJTA
Vineland Commuter Express: This bus runs nonstop from Atlantic City Bus Terminal to Vineland Transportation Center. It runs two trips a day in each direction, and has no intermediate stops. This is the only SJTA bus that costs any money, being $6. This service started October 6th, 2025. The VCE should theoretically shave 10-15 minutes from the trip between Atlantic City and Vineland.
Tour
Vineland Transportation Center is pretty small. It's basically a canopy attached to a plaza with some benches and schedules
Vineland Transportation Center has three platforms. The plaform that's used the most is furthest into the front, on the right side (looking from Landis Avenue). This platform is mostly for buses going towards Philadelphia, except for the southbound 313 for some reason? I'm not sure what's going on with that.
The second platform is behind the first one and is for southbound 408 and eastbound 553 buses, which are both buses going away from Philadelphia.
I'm fairly certain that corner store used to be the station waiting room.
Points of Interest Near Vineland Transportation Center
Downtown Vineland is pretty nice, and it has a lot of shops and good restaurants. There's also at least one very old movie theater there that still runs. Vineland isn't very dense, much of it being less like a city and more like a small town that keeps going.
